Simplified End User Software Integration for Global E-Commerce Provider

Our client is a leading global provider of digital commerce solutions for retail, restaurant, and digital banking industries. As an early innovator in commerce experiences, they’ve been at the forefront of transactions that power the world since 1884.

They’re recognized as a top global supplier of point-of-sale software in restaurants plus grocery, convenience, and drug stores.

Challenge

Within their digital banking division, the client needed to streamline and enhance the user experience for their external marketplace where clients access products, services, and capabilities.

Many of those clients are small businesses that don’t have the IT resources to manage the integration and custom feature development needed when onboarding their software solutions.

Our client needed a partner to develop a new and improved customer portal. This updated portal allows customers to access preconfigured APIs, or software development kits (SDKs), and purchase products.

Solution

Evergreen revamped our client’s end user portal to remove this barrier, streamline the integration process, and provide a better customer experience.

The first deliverable was a proof of concept for the client to showcase live at a major annual banking conference for their customer base.

Evergreen then built the portal, a GCP-hosted application utilizing ReactJS, designed to be cross-browser and cross-device compatible, supporting web, mobile, and tablet platforms with authentication and SSO capabilities.

Now and in the future, not only will this portal act as a marketplace, but it also has the functionality to do targeted marketing to customers and provide a community space for customers to collaborate. The client is also taking some of the most popular SDKs and productizing those long-term use cases that can support sales to customers.
