Ted Hand is Managing Director of Applied Engineering Services within Evergreen, Insight Global’s professional services division. He has overseen Engineering Practice from its inception to an $80 million book of business that has had double digit growth YoY since establishment in 2016. He has led the team into the utility, technology, retail, technology, O&G, and telecom industries by providing direction for service delivery and GTM strategies including service offerings, as well as establishing and directing a highly efficient data and operations team that supports the project execution teams.
Hand leads a team of 600 solution architects, engineers, and project managers and has overseen multiple successful, large-scale projects with clients such as Washington Gas Light, Southern Company, AEP, Florida Power & Light, Pacific Gas & Electric, The Home Depot, and Dollar General.
Hand joined Insight Global seven years ago and has continued to build out our engineering practice, which provides engineering, project management, business analytics, data, GIS, and business process outsourcing services. The team supports over 100 projects across 30+ customers.
Prior to joining Insight Global, he worked as a business and product development manager for a leading technical solutions provider, where he contributed to double digit growth in revenue for three years. Hand has also served as an engineering manager, production manager, and general manager for companies supporting the oil and gas industry.
Hand has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Utah State University.
